As you know, trees are critical to the health of urban dwellers and their environments! Our physical, emotional, economic and social health are connected to our proximity to nature. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Tree Tenders® program is designed to empower citizens with information and resources to plant and care for urban trees at their homes and in public spaces.
Tree Tenders Advanced Training is designed for individuals with pre-existing basic knowledge, either from the Tree Tenders basic training or other life experience. It consists of 8 classes held once a month on Wednesdays from 6-8pm, September 2014 through April 2015.
While the live class is full and the first two courses of the series have passed, you can still register to view the remaining real-time webcasts of the classes, and/or see the archived version at a later time. Learn more and register.
